Summer break
A couple of days ago we announced that we will be having a summer break. We didn't want to shut down entirely, since not everyone needs a break, so we posted round 7 with an extended deadline. That way those of you that dont need or want a break can sing, chat and have fun here, and those of you that do need a break have enough time to enter your song. I myself will be going on vacation tomorrow and will be back no later than August 12th. Anastasia_R

Good morning everyone. First off Top of the day to ya Roger, hope you have a great day and as you move forward through the year may love and laughter be ypur constant companions. For the very fortunate, they are sometimes long legged statuesque beautiful blonde twins, but it depends on how good you were last year!!!!!
Secondly, I sadly say goodbye (for now) to Chris and Molly, two people whom I've come to know here on the thread and respect as wonderful vocal artists. I was amazed at the diversity of music I found on both of their sites. I went through every sing off contestants library to see their body of work, and was staggered by the musical murals they had created within their studios. I' m not going to say you were great, I AM going to say you ARE phenomenal vocalists whom Iwill be following here on in.
Finally I would like to extend my gratitude to those who chose to keep me in The Game. I appreciate it very much, as I know it was a close vote. I was fully expecting to be leaving this morning, so I humbly, and with gratitude thank you for letting me keep on playing with you all. welcome back to our returning contestants as well. See just when you think you have a handle on this game, the Mistress of Mayhem and Earl of Excitement do things to let you know, we don't know Jack about what's going on in this game, we are all like Alice, falling down the rabbit hole.
I am glad we have a little bit of time to ruin our songs, cause I woke up this morning with a sore and scratchy throat, so I might be coming down with something. For those taking off on vacay, have a great time. Those of us left behind will hold down the fort and feed and water the llama's.

Just had a chance to read everything ~ I was checking in from my phone earlier so not as easy as computer. I also have everyone here flagged and as much as I can will be keeping up with listens once-in-awhile. You have all inspired me and on the thread here made me laugh as I silently lurked, lol!! Thank you again for keeping me ~ an unexpected gift. I have never had the opportunity to completely screw up a tune so this will be fun. Thinking I need to have a few drinks or shots, maybe even a tequila worm or two and also need to make sure no one is home or lurking!!
