The Battle Is Over!

The Final 5 have risen to the challenge and did an astounding job delivering their very best. Heart strings were pulled and the fans were left in absolute awe. The mentors can now sit back, kick of their feet and wait for Trevor to make his decision!

Every person who has participated in this contests should stand up and take a bow! Those of you who remain in the Final 5 and battled against some incredible talent and the road to victory has not been an easy one. Bravo to those who displayed good sportsmanship and stuck along to cheer on their favorites! We hope to see you in another official SingSnap contest in the near future!

The Champion:

We will now present the Final Five videos to Trevor. He will review each one and consider both the vocal performance and the video presentation and make his decision on who he feels did the best overall job and earned themselves the grand prize of a Lifetime Gold Membership! The remaining four runner-ups and are all still winners as each of them will receive a one-year Gold membership!

Banners will be awarded upon the Final Announcement. The announcement will be made on this thread by 5 PM EST, Monday May 7th - so stay tuned!

Our Gift To You - Surprise!

Trevor, The Mentors and the Contestants had such a great time in this contest (well most of them we hope lol) that we wanted to give a little something back to those who have been following along!

We enlisted the assistance of the Final Five - so HUGE thanks to them for their vocal and visual contributions! They each laid down a raw, acapella track of this song accompanied by a video! I laid down their tracks with the music and tried my best as syncing them up and mixing them. My apologies for the sound, my music editing software wouldn't work on this computer so I did the best I could with what I had! LOL Annie then took the track and did a FABULOUS job putting together a video! She had very limited time but I think it's incredible!

We feel SingSnap is a home away from home. Where you can come, kick off your shoes, put up your feet and just relax. This song sort of felt like the right choice to show what the site AND the contest has been about! We hope you enjoy!

soo ive decided i wanna combine ROCKIN BEAUTIFUL Grit from Sistah Liz and Brotha Jag, the HUGE AMAZING LUNG CAPACITY on Lee, the AWESOME creativity and beautifully vocally crazy Kelvis, and the SO SWEET emotional awesome side of Jennie into one voice box and put it inside me! Jeeeez I do not ENVY the judges! SOOOO can i combine all that and give it to me? Can I? Can I? Can I?

Im not gonna say who I think should win I dont think its fair to the contestants even though some of you guys have your favorites. I dunno I think its not really nice to write that Trevor should already see who the winner is because its so obvious etc...bec all of the five contestants have done their best to show of their voice. So maybe its not fun to go in to the thread and read such things like the winner is obvious..you guys gotta remind yourself that if you were in a contest would you want to go into the contest thread and read those things?

Anyways I believe that ITS NOT THAT OBVIOUS for any contestant to win and that Trevor has alot of thinking to do ;)

To state that in YOUR OWN OPINION that YOU believe there is a "clear winner" is fine. We all have different opinions..Im sure there are several persons who feel that way. I dunno who you think should win but whether I would know or not I would not say yeah that is true..because I prolly have another opinion...if you would as someone else they would say someone different.

It doesent matter what WE think anyways since its TREVOR who decide who will win. Not to forget they are all WINNERS since they have won 1 year gold membership. The person who win in THIS ROUND will have a lifetime membership. I just felt that everytime I checked the thread I was reading someone who stated THEIR OPINION of WHO should win..and it was starting to get quiet annoying..I cant believe how annoying it is for the Final contestants. So lets leave it at this its free to have your own opinion of who should win but I dont think its fair to be name dropping thats what I ment. I hope you understand now what I ment.

I understand Angela and agree. Giving a name is not too cool. And yes all are winners but like all these other reality contests, ultimately there has to be one chosen. My particular opinion is based on scoring as I have no horse in this race.........

Hi everyone was awesome and I am one who did say who i think was goin to win and I stand by that. Everyone did a awesome job and everyone that made it into this contest at the start and where we are now the top 5 should be very proud.

This is the most talented contestants in a contest I have ever see. I could see it in ppl and feel what they was singing. Everyone is a winner.

Again tho everyone did do a awesome job and no 1 here should be dissapoint cause all you to me is the best singers on Singsnap and it was a honor to listen to you.
