Welcome fellow Muppets and Friends! You have entered our new Challenge Thread where we will be posting various challenges which are open to all of the Singsnap community. These challenges will be hosted by some of the cast members of THE MUPPET STUDIO There is no judging involved and you don’t even have to post a song or take on a character to hang out on this thread. We do ask that if you choose to participate that you show generosity to all in your comments and please return the courtesy of listening to others. Role play is always encouraged so if you want to find a character too you can check out THE COSTUME DEPARTMENT
We hope you will join us!

Ha ha :)

Reply by davemPATRON

Georg Solti was actually an orchestral and operatic conductor. Probably one of the greatest conductors of the 20th century.

Edited reply by Maree

Carly Simon won "Best New Artist of the Year" in 1971
and one for her Songwriting in 1989

Does it have to be an award winning SONG or just artist?

Reply by Indy_RosserPATRON

Holy cow! I knew J R Cash won a couple or maybe even a few, but you should oughta go and look at the list! SOME of the awards are interesting that he won as well - not QUITE what you would expect a old style country singer to win!

Edited reply by Indy_RosserPATRON

This is interesting stuff. Ol' Waylon won one with MacArthur Park - with The Kimberlys - (which, I have to say, is the best version of that song I have ever heard, in my opinion - and, yes, I know I am biased). Have a listen to it on Youtube and tell me I am wrong!

Reply by Maree

G'day Indy :) I am sure you will find something to sing. Lay it on us!
