I just learned how to do these things thanks to some helpful folks on the site, figured I would share the info in case other bnewbs like me were out there wondering how to do this.

To add graphics to message board threads, you type it in the following format without the spaces in the brackets:

To do it in the comments of the songs, use the standard html, such as:

To add colors to text in forums and comments (without the spaces in the ):

Hello World

To add colors to text in forums and comments (without the spaces in the []):

[ color=blue ]Hello World [ /color ]

I tried this in the comments section - to myself of course so I wouldn't ruin someone else page - hehe - and actually remembered to take out the spaces and it didn't work for me. :( Boo Hoo. Any suggestions??? I love purdy colours.

Hello World

You can change the font-family to however (Roman, sans serif, etc. change the size 12px, 10px.

Ok I've read this thread and its coming up for both situations.

For the message boards to change the color its
[ color=blue ]PUT YOUR TEXT HERE[ /color ]

for anyplace else on the site ie, comments, your profile, etc.. its
PUT YOUR TEXT HERE

You take the spaces out of course between the [ ] & the < > unless its 2 words like (font color)

Also you do not need that big stuff the changes the font family and stuff (the font family is nothing more then the name of the font) unless or course you would want to.

to change the size of the letters or font on comments and other parts of the site
PUT YOUR TEXT HERE
the # can be between 1 - 7 with 7 being the biggest which is usually used for heading and such

You can combine these two commands into one statement
PUT YOUR TEXT HERE

Just remember to take out the spaces in the < > like I said before and it will work.

Hope this helps anyone who might want to play with the print. LOL

If you are going to put the alt= in the code its wise to use it .. it's so if for some reason your browser doesn't show the image up it will replace it with a text description so your browser isn't hanging around waiting for it to show so is better on loading time and don't look messy with red x's... it will put a description instead.. so you would put something like alt="My Cat" example if it was a picture of your cat... well you could put whatever the hell you wanted

Being a typical male I dont multitask real well and besides typing in Black is fine with me as Colour Ink is way too costly and also who gives a Rat's if Message Board/Forums/Comments are in colour seriously ............. Opssss am I being too negative again here ........ Sorry but I have a hard enough time trying to sing never mind all this techo stuff !!!!

Rob go take 2 RED and 3 BLUE pills and rest a bit :))

Keep smiling folks ( in Black/Red/Blue or Yellow ) Rob1943
