Request A Song For Friday's Feature!
This challenge will mark the end of our memorable Month of Love! This is a leap year, so we thought we would do an event in honor of this special occasion! The past 29 days have been jam-packed with hearty goodness. We've watched our friend Willie, said farewell to Winterfest, gave our furry friends some love, sent out adorable Heart O' Grams and much much more! We've got one final warm fuzzy challenge - are you up for it?
A popular Irish tradition states that any man who receives a proposal must accept it or suffer a terrible fate. We're not going to ask you to propose to someone but we are going to challenge you to dedicate your song to someone and and create a secret sign just for them. Read Part A and B below for all the details!
Leap Year Challenge Part A: Sing any song from the Feature Page. The song must be dated February 29, 2012.
Leap year Challenge Part B: Dedicate your song to anyone on the site (or group of people), tell us how they are special in your life and then show us your secret sign! The 'secret sign' might be a wrinkling of the nose, wink of the eye, tug on your ear or blowing them a kiss! Anything and everything is accepted! This secret sign will be your way of saying, "Hello!", "I Love You!", "I Care"! Something special for just the two of you! If you're on cam, show it to us! If you're doing audio only, describe it in your song comment section!
1. The Challenge is open from 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM EST Wednesday February 29, 2012.
2. You song must be dated Feb 29.
3. Duets with the person you're dedicating your song to are allowed but only you will get the banner on your page.
4. Gender Benders are acceptable
5. You MUST have FUN! Fun, Fun, Fun!
6. Post your challenge link back in this thread.
7. Web cams are encouraged but not required.
8. Challenge is open to all members.
