I'd like to say what a pleasure it was to reintroduce the Carpenters Songbook in its new home, and how much I appreciated how painless, even, the transition was--
but I can't. :-|
As I know many of you witnessed yesterday, we 'had a battle' as the saying goes; with one false start after another, and another (was that embarrassing???), we finally got it together (with much support from Staff--thank you, Rob 
In short, no images were showing up in my Firefox browser--none. So my posting previews were all blank. A web search revealed a 'blocked' setting that needed to be unchecked, was all. Enough of all that. I'm over it. 
I'm happy to present "The Songbook", a work no doubt still in progress. We're close to 50 entries--who knew?!

I love the Carpenters, but its hard for me to sing their songs since they're too low for my voice.

Greg, you've done a great service (for me and other Carpenter fans out there) bringing us all these wonderful downloads. Because of my low voice, can't sing (well, at least) the soprano artists, but can sing Carpenters! So, thank you! Connie
