Hi Guys! Had to get my song in as I'm going out of town this weekend and I'm not sure if I'll have access to an internet connection. Love this song so I did my Gender Bender variation of it and I think it came out ok! Anne Murray is a crazy Canuck like myself, from the province next door. I hope I did her song justice and she doesn't come chasing after me because I butchered her song! lol! Most of my songs I sing are never exactly true to the original artist. I always try and make it my own somehow. I think that's why I enjoy listening to others sing. You can take a song and a dozen people will sing it a dozen different ways. Sometimes, it works, sometimes it doesn't. I hope my does work this time! Good luck to everyone in the contest. I've had a ball. This has been an exceptionally fun contest for me because I got to sing songs I probably might not have thought about singing. I'm honored to have made it to the finals with such an amazingly talented bunch of people! A wonderful hostess, and two wonderful judges to boot! Shirl's contests are always so much fun. I love her trivia contests (which she never had this time) and her bonus songs were so much fun to learn and sing! Look forward to her next one! I'll be there, and if I don't show up, someone come looking for me!

By the way, speaking of bonus songs...was there a banner awarded for "Sometimes When We Touch"? I saw the last two banners that Jim won (congrats Jim) but I deleted the thread for the last round and now I can't find a link to check it out!

Anyway! Hopefully I will get a chance to check in while I'm away! Happy Canada Day (Weekend) to all my fellow Canucks! Happy Forth of July to all my American friends too, in case I don't see you on the threads!
