Welcome to the ultimate video star contest

ONE ROUND contest, 4 videos to submit

Songs recorded from Thurs 9 Aug onwards may be submitted- Deadline Saturday 18 August 11pm SS time. Results will be posted on Sunday 19 August to give judges time to deliberate and score

All entries must be on video
Keep it clean and unoffensive
Be creative and interpret the themes however you like- there is no right or wrong

Video 1 Depict an era

Video 2 Become the Star! This can be any star- pop, rock, broadway, film, fictional or real

Video 3 Human emotion.... one or many

Video 4 Make us laugh

My husband was in a band decades ago. The musicians were kind of dismayed that all they had to do was play that silly pop tune and the crowd would go crazy dancing. Nothing else got 'em up like that.

GEEZ THIS IS SO sooooo difficult .....i can not go on location with my laptop.....so i have my little video studio whateva in my room.... ,well i can always use an extention cord....duh anyways about this era thing the song has to be from the era too right?> or can it be about that era? but a song more recent? just wondering

I do it on purpose lol... simply for the reason above... it makes it a lot broader and leaves you to be as creative as you want!

I'll let you know how it's going. My girlfriend's granddaughter is headed here and I thought her and my son could help with the video.

It will help a lot if I can get them outside and out of the house so the sound doesn't BOUNCE OF THE WALLS!!!!

Now if someone would just turn that darn sun off, we'd really be in business!!!!

Myself & Terry both edit and if I remember right it's something we started learning back in 2009 so it's not something that happens overnight

It's also something we would score higher for. I have done many fun and creative videos with no editing at all. There are many ways to be creative with video

It's about sharing creativity and entertaining others on SS by making videos that stand out and are more fun to watch that someone just sitting singing. I know full well what u are capable Viv so stop stressing!!
