Cathi and PJ's Still Got the Blues Final Round

There were some of you in the last round, who said you found it very difficult to judge accurately and honestly on my Diana Ross songs. I completely agree, it is very difficult! Here is the reason that I wanted you to do the scoring.Remember that I told you in the semi-finals bonus to pay close attention to the 6 components while judging my Diana Ross songs? That was a practice exercise for you, because that is exactly what you will be doing for this round.

You may choose from any of the artists featured in this round. Record and submit your song, doing your best to achieve a perfect song score of 30. Pay very close attention to every one of those 6 components. Then judge your own song and PM your scores to me, and see how closely we agree. You will start out with a base bonus score of 20. I will subtract 1 point for every point that you are away from my score on your song.
For example: Your overall self-score for the song is 28. If I score the song as 30, you will receive 18 bonus points, because you are 2 points away from the score I gave you. It works the same, whether you are plus or minus points away from my scores.

For this round, each contestant may feel free to make a request for me (PJ) to sing any Diana Ross (and the Supremes) song. You will be grading me this time. Just as we grade you. If this takes too long to do before the round is over, we'll extend it into the finals. (Plus there will be another bonus for the finals) I want you to PM your scores to me, and they will be tallied and posted once all the songs are finished. Only 1 song request per contestant, and it will be sung as intended, no side tricks, lol. So go to the first page of the thread, find where it tells you how we grade, and grade my songs accordingly. Then for every contestant who listens and leaves a comment on the song, you will each receive 5 extra bonus points.

Oh, and I guess I should mention that there may just be a catch to this bonus, having to do with next round's bonus. So choose your song request carefully.

When you PM me with your scores, please tell me which song you are judging, also for each judging component, please put what your score is: Here it is; you can copy/paste from here. If a 5 is not what you score, then take out the 5's and put your own score in for each one:
5 - clarity
5 - mix/recording (is it a clean recording and is it mixed good?)
5 - Tune/pitch (is it in tune and is the tone great?)
5 - Timing
5 - Entertaining (what did you do to entertain us?)
5 - EMOTION/OVERALL PERFORMANCE
30 PTS POSSIBLE FOR A "PERFECT" SING

I'm not looking for perfect scores if I don't deserve them. I know that I'm not singing most of them perfectly. Be thoughtful and judge as if you were judging a contestant. I don't need to be buttered up, I already loves ya'll! LOL!

Cathi has agreed to sing any Beatles songs (or songs by any of the Beatles) for you to score the same way we did with the Diana Ross songs!! You will make your request of her, then listen to the songs, comment on the songs, score the songs, and submit her scores via PM to her! Each contestant who makes the request, listens and comments on the songs, and PM's the scores to her, will receive an added 5 points to their overall score!

Oh, I loved them all, and yes, John was amazingly talented when it came to writing songs. Oh, and you can sing either beatles (or a song by any one of them), or The Traveling Wilbury's. LOL, Robin!! YESSSSSSSSSSS!!! I had a huge colletion! You'd think my teeth should have rotted out, the way I chomped on that bubble gum! I don't even know what happened to the cards. I never took them with me when I moved out, so I'm thinking that I either gave them away or threw them away. I think I was about 12 years old when I watched the Beatles for the first time on Ed Sullivan. Oh, I had such a huge crush on Paul too! I did have a bunch of 33 1/3 albums when I moved out of my parents house, but I really don't know what ever happened to them either! I do have a big box of 45's in my closet right now, not all Beatles, but a lot of them are. We do have a turntable too, but it's all packed way back, where it would take a day just to get to it. LOL!

Oh, and good morning, by the way! LOL! MAN! I was noticing the times on your posts, and you people either stay up late, or get up unbelievably early!! LOL!
