Well I dunno what happened to my thread, I've searched the first 10 pages and it's not there. If i've missed it forgive me. This is a page for anyone to come and test out their code. I started this cuz I was tired of looking like an IDIOT when I tried to post images or just change the text for emphasis.

So...anytime you wanna make sure your graphic works or you wanna learn...come here and test it out!!! I'll start it...

HAVE FUN!!!

Couple tips...BB code is VERY tempermental. This particular one does not accept all BB codes. Look at the bottom under the submission box for the codes that DO work.

Also, be careful of spaces. Any mistake will negate the WHOLE code.

When using bold (b) make sure you close the b before the color or it won't work.

And finally, PLEASE...if you use bb code for text or images MAKE sure you close them. Nothing screws up a page more than someone NOT closing their code. It'll change all future comments on that page. It can be VERY annoying..

Ok, yall, have fun, test away!!!

You can't use html in this box hun, you have to use the BB codes at the bottom. BB stands for "bulletin board".

I'm such a dork when it comes to these things...then if i wanna put a pic here...how am i suppose to do it right? Pls help... :}

to post a pic, upload to a hosting site (such as photobucket or imageshack), and then copy either the IMG or URL code it gives.

HOWEVER..if you want to post a pic in your profile or on a comment, then you have to use the HTML code like you did above

Cuda.. The message board uses The BBcode and not HTML.. Look at the bottom of the page.. There is a link to Wiki's clarification of those..

If I write the code for you here then it will be interpreted as a code, thus showing the result.. I will therefore write it with round brackets ")" and "(" instead of the rectangular ones "]" and "["

(color=#FF0099)test(/color)

Now I'll substitute the round ones wth rectangular.. The code won't show but their effect on the color of the word "test" will... Voila:

test

PS: You can find the color codes here:

You're using html code, hun. You have to use the BBCode tags under the reply box.

To see how someone has coded it, use the "quote" option. It will show you exactly how the code was written!

The link color is determined by the CSS stylesheet written by Sing Snap...I don't think there's anyway to change it without changing all the links on the page.
