sync issues

When timing my recordings, I sometimes have to have adjustments in the 2-300 range, but I can eventually find a spot where my vocals match the music perfectly. However, when listening to the finished product while viewing the lyrics, the sync between what I am reading and what I am singing is way off, sometimes a line or two. I usually don't care about that since I'm only interested in the finished sound. But, why is this happening? I am using an Imac, a 1202fx mixer and a shure sm58 mic. Here is an example.

Typically there should not be too much variance between the initial recording and the adjustment made during the preview. There are exceptions for certain duets which is a known bug.

I am having the same problem. I have a new computer an IMac. I didn't have these issues before with my old computer.
