Hi there...one of the best way to get comments is to give them to others, but also you could participate in some of the challenges here on Snap...a great way to meet people, listen to their songs, and many return the listening favor...

well honestly in my own opinion there are singers here who are not really into making comments its either they don't know you or they just don't want to . . but honestly in my case seeing the views in my my songs makes me happy rather than having more comments . . and in my case i don't just listen to others sing to have comments in return i listen because i love to listen . . well comments are also one way of improving one's craft , ,but just an opinion ok or shall i say a mere small suggestion if you hear others sing who you think have something wrong with their singing (even me) maybe can PM the person maybe we can help . .and thus given PM and being told about their mistakes can accept it maybe we are not just making friends but we are helping them improved their singing . .just a suggestion though....hope others won't take this against me . .

the biggest problem is views are not reliable at all i just when on one of my song and without hitting the play button i crank up 5 views in only one shoot

views for me just mean nothing i can t communicate with views there boring

well that's one thing also . .its either they just listen to your first line and stop . . but at least they tried . .lol . .well then when you are not singing the featured songs people doesn't think or bother to look at your songs if they don't know you or not their friends . .well correct me if i'm wrong here but when you sing a non featured song and still you have lots of views what does that mean then??

well it still don t mean much if i can communicate .............and i never get lot of viewsssssssssssssss so i don t know ..................that only works for the great singer .lol that don t include me...................i still will never understand why people don t want to communicate ........that reminds me when the cashier at the bank was trying to convince my mother that she could get a bank card and she could pay all her bills and wouldn t need the cashier.............my mom answer to her was that stupid machine won t talk to me................living by herself that one special day was the only time she could talk to someone and she wasn t interested in giving that up for a card and a machine

Ya know it takes what 3 seconds to comment if that. Every time I listen to someone singing at Singsnap I always leave a comment. If I click their song I cant just leave the song without leaving a comment.

And its the other way around this is a karaoke site. Everyone should leave comments when listen to other ppl sing good or bad!!!!

I give props to bad singers who actually sing at Singsnap loll though they may not sound really good the main thing is they are having fun.

Those who are all about improving their vocals, have a few options. They can go to the vocal and critique forums. They can request critique on their original song comment. They can enter contests where critique from the judges is part of it. Or they can seek critique from friends and singers they admire.

For the most part, I think this site is about people having fun and forming friendships. A nice and encouraging comment is always a good thing IMHO. The comment doesn't have to be about their singing. It can be about their love for the song or the emotion they put into their recording. The singer doesn't have to be pro quality for me to enjoy the moment. I can usually find something positive to say.

i disagree entirly with the way many people are doing to comments,,,,is there a race with a big prize to who gets the most?????? have i been missing out????

Comments - what difference does it make? well i can only speak for myself when i say - a comment left can inspire/lift one's mood... it's them small things that can go a long way....

To the OP... don't take it personally is all i have to say...heck when i have songs up i struggle to just get a view lollllllllllll :o) ** grins **

i fix mine............. now everything is turn off .i don t even have to look for views or comments should make everyone happy................and i can freely listen and comments without any worries of if or but .no one has to get there ear scracth from listening to me ..............

I have tried to comment on several songs tonight but when I click on submit my comment is lost and the home page comes up.Has anyone else had this problem?

I can send pms just fine and even write comments here.It is only when i try to leave a comment to a song.

I've only been a member a few months, but I've noticed certain things. Most people have "friends" they listen to, comment on and award stars to, even if they don't sing very well. If you are new, it's pretty hard to break into these cliques and make friends here. I'm just now starting to meet people, and what I've started doing is visiting pretty much everyone that comments on my songs. I'll listen to them, and comment back. It seems fair, after all they took the time to visit me and drop a line or two. This is helping my number of comments and I even have some "fans" now. How cool is that? As far as comments, I've noticed so far everyone is NICE with their comments- that is very refreshing because I'm not a professional singer, and I'm not even close to perfect, so I appreciate the kind words. There is at least one link under the community section for people that are actively trying to improve their singing, and you can post a song there and receive constructive feedback. I haven't been brave enough to try that yet, but I am a pretty harsh critic of my own singing, so if I don't like how something turns out, I won't even post it to begin with! Anyway, just my two cents....I'm having a blast singing, and my hubby says I'm now addicted to Sing snap Have a nice day, Ruthi

if I see I have lots of views and minimal comments...i just assume that people clicked on it and hated it and moved on. I usually just delete the song when that happens so I don't torture anybody else.

if i do that i won t have any songs left .........i ll have to delete them all lollll

I guess many people just don't care to acknowledge a good job when they hear it as if afraid to help someone feel good. People are weird.

One thing I do know for sure is that when viewing, I always click the one's with multiple views but few to no comments, because 9 out of 10 times, the performances are magnificent. Most great performances have no comments but MANY views.

guess they where speachless after hearing such a good performance, I noticed it too many time RCC 1967

Or they could be like me and have shared it on Facebook or somewhere else on line, where people can view it but not be able to comment.

But, yes, I've noticed in my case, on featured songs, I'll immediately get like 10 views but no comments, and I think, even if I stink, can you at least say you stopped by and listened? I ALWAYS say something if I click on a song, it just seems impolite not to!
