qtkat's One-Hit-Wonders On-going Challenge

If no one volunteers....it will just be a month of thread posts with no playlisting... That's up to you all... no offers yet.. :)

Here's the deal for May. As I will be so busy, and gone for over a week, also, I'm pretty much leaving it up to you all to sing whatever you want to. I'd like someone to volunteer though, to start a PLAYLIST to post all of May's Free-For-All songs in. I'll add it to the thread with all the other playlist postings, and whomever accepts this task, can repost the playlist code every page. No need to concern yourselves with a particular FEATURE for ant song posted. They ALL will go in the new playlist for May. You CAN use the OHWs challenges themes, but you may want to treat it as a month-long Whimsical Weekend. I'm keeping with the song LIMITS though, of 25 per week. Preferably no more that 3/per day...to make it easier on the volunteer who will be playlisting these song links.
I will take my laptop with me to PCB,but it doesn't have all the codes and features that my Desk-Top has. I'll probably check in periodically, and even post some songs. We Karaoke so much on Vacation, We'll probably be practicing on SS before singing LIVE at Karaoke bar...
If someone WANTS to run May 11th and May 18th's KAMIKAZE, I will need ONE person to volunteer, in a PM to me. Otherwise, we'll have to skip those 2 weeks.
In summation.... I need 2 volunteers or ONE volunteer, for both, the May Free-For-All playlist playlisting of all songs for May, and/or The Kamikazee Fridays of the 11th and 18th.
Please PM me...First come first served.

May Free-for-All will start tomorrow....It will give me a chance to catch up on some of the last few pages also, without having to playlist the ones, starting tomorrow. I need the May Volunteer to respond ASAP, as it starts tomorrow.qtkat_2000

Please feel free to honor Tyler, in song... Any Rock artist who, also, died far too young...before the age of 30, concentrating mostly on Jim Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison (The Doors) and Kurt Cobain (Nirvana). I'll post those in the new playlist and will make it an on-going feature. Unfortunately, there are so many artists that fit this theme, and will continue to have more on this fateful list, that it deserves a perennial feature.

Grieving loved ones who have gone before us is a hard thing to deal with, and I know that words cannot always make things better, nor can they take away our pain and hurting. ***I hope you all are listening and commenting on the songs in our HOUSE MUSIC MUST LISTENS! I'm pretty proud of it, myself. Steven Foster Wise

Steven Foster Wise, 64, of Crawfordsville, died Thursday at his residence.

He worked with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local #668.

He was a member of Free Methodist Church at Lafayette, Moose and Eagles Lodges at Miramar, FL.

In 1964 he graduated from Lafayette Jefferson High School.

Born Jan. 14, 1948, at Lafayette, his parents were William George & Phyllis Jean (Reath) Wise.

He married Linda Taylor in 1965. She survives

Also surviving are sons, Steven Foster, Jr. of Crawfordsville, Eric Wayne (Susan) of W. Lafayette, Shannon Hugh (Nancy) of Lafayette, Michael Alan (Christy) of Flint, MI, Lee Edward Sr. (Michelle) of Crawfordsville, Anthony Scott of Crawfordsville and Joshua Shane (Jennifer) of Lafayette; and a brother Kevin of Waynetown; 26 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by a brother Bradley

Visitation 12-2 p.m. with service at 2 p.m. Monday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home. Burial at Oak Hill Cemetery North.

I know....it's already closed....his wife is on SS...butthere's no mention on her songs or profile, of his passing...no mention on his or his song comments either...but SHE did not sing for over a month, after his passing....
