OK IN ORDER FOR THE JUDGES TO JUDGE YOUR SONG: YOU MUST POST A LINK TO THE SITE THAT SAYS IT IS ON THE TOP 100. AS LONG AS YOU DO THAT, I WILL ACCEPT THE SONG. Bluesman, I already checked yours. its good.

Good morning!!!!!
I wont be in much today. I may go through SSWS (Singsnap Withdraw Syndrome. It works much like facebook withdraw syndrome...) I am sure you have heard of it. ;)

Reply by oocindylouwhoGOLD

Miss Karin, I have a question that I am not clear about.
Does the song have to be listed on SS in the OLDIES genre
or just fit the criteria of being in the top 100 billboard for
the specified years......

Many really great Oldies from those years
are listed on SS under POP, ROCK and COUNTRY genres.

as long as it is on the top 100 and they have proof that it was on the chart then it does not matter what singsnap genre it is. :)

THANKS!!! I was worried. Once I was in a contest where
they assigned a year and said do an oldie from that year.
So later I found out it had to be listed at SS as an oldie so
I had to drop out. Didnt want any of the guys to make that
mistake, LOL.

Reply by ladyjerusalem

All listened and scored up to this point. Let me please stress, guys, that our scoring is PAINFULLY close at this point! It's like the end of any competition show...it's literally anyone's win at this point. You're all THAT good! Please do not take it personally if you don't advance or didn't advance. It's not because you didn't deserve to advance. It's because someone HAS to go. We love all of you! You're all AMAZING!

Reply by Warm_SmileGOLD

Yes! To discriminate in such detail, at this time in the competition, is an intense process for us judges. We are counting every tiny detail otherwise there is no way to distinguish and give winning places.

Do you realize, and I'm sure most of you do realize this, that to get a GREAT recording here on Sing Snap is something that many professional recording artists would have difficulty doing. Here in Sing Snap we don't have the luxury of recording a song several times and then picking the perfect parts of a song and "pasting" them together to create the perfect song as the end product we find in stores. Here, to get that "perfect" song, we have to do it ALL perfect in one take. That is not an easy task.

So be proud of yourselves. I know, first hand, how hard it is to not make it to the next round.

I give you my promise, that I'm doing my very best to be as objective as possible. I try my best not to play favorites. I pretend I'm listening to your song as if I were going to buy it off Itunes. Yep, that is a tough standard to match here in Sing Snap. You guys, are THAT good.

One more thing; all you can do is your best. The good news is, that your best keeps getting better and better, the more you work on your skills and keep honestly evaluating your own recordings in the same way. Ask yourself, "If I was listening to this song on Itunes, would I buy it?" If not, then what's going on with it, that turns me off? How can I fix it?

Just my own three cents worth. Take wat works for you and disregard the rest.

You can be very proud of yourself, getting this far.
