Summerfest Summer Games - Week One!

Welcome To Week One - Self Synchronized Singing!

The Summerfest Summer Games are now officially launched! The theme this year is The Summer Games. Join us each week for 'event' inspired challenges where you can earn yourself a nifty music note token. Collect all five tokens and you will be awarded a Gold Medal banner at the closing ceremonies as well as the highly coveted Snap-Star nickname!

Your first grueling Summer Games challenge will be Synchronized Singing - with yourself! You will be competing to earn your blue music note!

Summer Games, Week One Challenge!
Please read the challenge carefully prior to submitting your entry!

Your Challenge: Sing any song from the Feature Page on Friday June 1, 2012. The song must be dated June 1st. However, prior to submitting the song you must use the "harmony" feature and 'duet with yourself'! Get creative; sing along with yourself, do some actual harmony, try out a split screen duet - with yourself! If you're on cam, show us some different characters and increase your chances of getting featured!

The first challenge is very easy, we simply want you to sing and then sing again with yourself and submit the finished piece! The song you submit must have the (harmony) signature next to your name.

How To Harmonize:
Not sure how to do that? It's easy!

1. Sing the song you would like to turn into a self duet and save it private.
2. Click on the ACCOUNT tab.
3. Click on the RECORDINGS subtab.
4. Locate the recording and click on it.
5. Once the player is open click on the button that says "Harmonize your recording".
6. And again, click on the button that says "Harmonize your recording".
7. The recorder is now open, so just sing along with yourself!
8. Use the How To Duet tutorial to see how to do a split-screen video duet!

Rules & Guidelines:

1. The Challenge is open from 12:00 AM EST until 11:59 PM EST Friday June 1, 2012! (Your song MUST be dated June 1st to be eligible)
2. Using the Harmony Function is required.
3. Gender Benders are acceptable
4. You MUST have FUN! Fun, Fun, Fun!
5. Post your challenge link back in this thread.
6. Web cams are encouraged but not required.
7. Challenge is open to all members.
8. One Song per Snapper.
9. Promotion of non-challenge songs is strictly prohibited.
10. Post your link only once. If you think we missed it, send a private message to the Events Team!

OK, I just checked it. That song is the first one in the list. If you look a little above that, it says "Synchronized Swimming Playlist." All the other songs that have been entered into the challenge so far are also on the playlist.
