Bahaha! That would be my luck. I once went in at 5am to do books. The other bookkeeper was already there. I asked, what are you doing here? She asks, What are YOU doing here? Haha she came in at 5am on her day off. I told her she could stay if she wanted and I'd go home and back to bed. She didn't bite =( lol

So I have my "Idiot's Pocket Guide to Spanish " here with me, and it asks a good question.
Why do you want to learn the language? Is it because a sexy, Latino accent makes your heart skip a beat and your legs start to wobble?
No it is not...it's so I can try to sing the many latin songs on here, which are absolutely free!! It is a wonderful language, which is very popular in the latin countries, and if I ever go there, I can sing the clothes right off of some very beautiful girls. Why else would I try to learn it!?

Can't hardly afford bacon here anymore, or most meats as far as that goes. The other day, when I was shoppin', thick sliced bacon was $6.58 a pound!! Used to buy a whole piglet for that......back when!! :)

a slab is as big as you want it to be, it's just a big hunk of bacon and you can cut it, slice it, chop it however ya want...ever have pasta carbonara?? best way to use slab bacon, other than cheeseburgers of course LOL

it's bacon egg and pasta noodles of choice (fettucini or tagliatelle are my faves)...best places to look are Foodnetwork.com or on Rachael Ray's site. Make sure you temper the eggs or you'll wind up with scrambled eggs in your macaroni LOL

You can usually buy the slabs like that at butcher shops. I don't think I have ever seen them at our big chain food store.. but the slab is usually what I buy when I am making cabbage rolls so I can cut it up fairly big chunks..

We used to have a lot of butcher shops around here, but they are mostly gone now. We might have two that I know of. The big chains killed them off I guess.
