anyone fed up with the same feature page tunes

It's kinda like a restaurant isn't it? Everyday there is a "special". It you don't like roast beef don't go on a Tuesday, but wait until Thursday when they have fried chicken. :O) However, in a perfect world the everyday special would be cheeseburgers of course. :OP

Thank you guys so much! I love Huggs! I love my job here and I love you all. You have to be able to take negative criticism as well. When a singer steps on stage or records an album they face criticism. It's all in how you deal with that negative criticism. Always try to turn the negative into a positive and learn from your mistakes.

LOL, Larry I like that analogy. If you don't like what the "special" is for the day then order from the regular menu. There are many others songs offered other than those featured. I usually go for the "special". I like to try new things. Learning new songs is fun for me. The same goes for life in general. Sometimes we tend to get stuck in a routine. I generally go for country songs because I've been told I have a natural country voice, but that doesn't mean I can't try a few rock, rap, R&B, or blues songs every now and then. It can be a little frightening to step out of your comfort zone, but you may surprise yourself in the end.

I have been with singsnap since 2006 and always loved the feature page and unfortunately I have to agree with you.I rely on the feature page for inspiration (as I can't think of songs for myself haha),however,I have been a little disheartened with the choice lately . I am aware as most are that you can't please all the people all of the time.Never one to complain normally and this may be the first time in 6 years ,Karen.

Awww. I am sorry you don't like today's feature. We're only doing these special features twice a week, based on user feedback. If you like older country, than I can understand why you don't like a feature about new artists. With that said, there's really some great tunes on there and might be worth checking out. If you're not into trying new things, stay tuned because the normal randomly generated feature will be back tomorrow

Thanks for the feedback When we first started Features they were hand-picked, like this one. Then we got a lot of complaints and went with randomly generated which covered all genres. Then we got even more complaints that the Feature was too repetitive. So this is yet another effort to please the masses. We're trying to do SOME hand-selected themes, *twice a week*, paired with our randomly generated.

It seems to be a lose lose situation regardless of what we do, but we're trying. Again, if you have something YOU would like to see, be proactive and make a suggestion and we'll do our best to incorporate it!

Thanks for the reply Novella, your right nothing wrong with trying something new if your into the new country music...I am sure it takes a lot of work putting together the feature page and I can appreciate that...But on the days that we have the feature page being made up by someone can't they at least add a few old country songs.lol just asking...Not trying to start a war here....mike

Hey TGWA13! I like old country too. I'm sorry you didn't find any on the feature today. We did feature some of the newer country artists. We'll keep that in mind for features chosen in the future. Thanks for your feedback.
